Genesis 36

He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. (KJV - Genesis 36:1)

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (KJV - Genesis 36:2)

In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind. (KJV - Genesis 36:3)

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (KJV - Genesis 36:4)
