Ezra 7

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. (KJV - Ezra 7:1)

There was a man sent from God whose name was John. (KJV - Ezra 7:2)

The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. (KJV - Ezra 7:3)

The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. (KJV - Ezra 7:4)

He himself was not the light; he came only as a witness to the light. (KJV - Ezra 7:5)

He came as a witness to testify concerning that light, so that through him all might believe. (KJV - Ezra 7:6)
